Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Care Practitioner to join our team at The Birches Medical Centre and Martlesham Heath Surgery. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and delivering exceptional clinical services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily consultations with patients, utilizing your clinical expertise and judgment to identify potential diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Facilitate comprehensive patient histories, including physical examinations as necessary, to inform your clinical decision-making.
  • Prescribe medication and treatment regimes in accordance with local formularies and practice protocols, with the ability to review guidelines and request additional information as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care and ensure the highest standards of clinical practice.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Registered Nurse or Paramedic First Level Nurse qualification, or equivalent.
  • Degree-level study or equivalent.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Independent non-medical prescriber qualifications.
