About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join our Healthcare Team. The successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence cases, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of clinical negligence matters from inception to resolution.
  • Provide expert legal advice on clinical negligence claims, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating case documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and correspondence.
  • Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and experts to gather information and evidence.
  • Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Healthcare Team to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year's PQE in Clinical Negligence.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in handling clinical negligence cases.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.
