Job Title: Advanced Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Advanced Teaching Assistant to join our team. As an Advanced Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and delivering tailored interventions to help them achieve their full potential.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN. You will be responsible for planning and delivering interventions, working one-to-one and in small groups, and supporting students in the classroom as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored interventions to students with SEN
  • Work one-to-one and in small groups to support students
  • Support students in the classroom as needed
  • Plan and monitor interventions to ensure student progress
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A commitment to working with young people and a passion for education
  • Experience of delivering ASDAN, Life Skills, or similar non-GCSE qualifications
  • Experience of supporting small groups of students in lessons and/or one-to-one work
  • Achieved GCSE or equivalent in both English and maths at grade C/4 or above
