Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Interior Decorator and Painter to join our team at AccorHotel.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and decorating hotel surfaces, applying finishes, conducting surface preparation, mixing paint colors, and maintaining tools and equipment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Decorate various hotel surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and furniture, to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our properties.
  • Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to achieve the desired look and feel.
  • Conduct surface preparation tasks, such as sanding, filling cracks, and removing old paint or wallpaper, to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Mix and match paint colors to create unique and appealing designs.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by following health and safety guidelines and ensuring all work areas are protected.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize painting and other projects.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator, preferably in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent knowledge of painting materials and techniques, including color theory and design principles.
  • Able to work effectively with various tools and equipment, including ladders, scaffolding, and power tools.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, ensuring high-quality finishes and presentations.
  • Good physical condition and stamina, able to work at heights and lift heavy objects.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
Estimated Salary:

$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
