About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Modality Partnership. As a key member of our practice team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support.

Job Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Providing patient health checks, including observations such as blood pressure monitoring, ECG monitoring, height and weight measurements, and phlebotomy services.
  2. Assessing patient needs and providing health and wellbeing advice and promotion, including smoking cessation advice and signposting to relevant resources.
  3. Working collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of our patients and deliver safe patient care.
  4. Supporting the wider nursing team across Modality Hull Medical Practice to promote the health and wellbeing of our patients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. GCSE Grade A-C Maths and English (or equivalent).
  2. NVQ 3 or equivalent experience in Health Care Assistant roles.
  3. Recent previous experience in direct patient care.
  4. Phlebotomy skills.
  5. Proficient in blood pressure monitoring.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Ability to follow guidelines and protocols.
