Bench Fitter

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Bench Operator/Fabricator to join our team at Connect Personnel Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and setting up various types of drilling machines, Pem Machines, and Robot and Cobot welders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and setup drilling machines, Pem Machines, and Robot and Cobot welders
• Learn to operate CNC Laser cutting, Punchpress, and Brakepress
• Interpret work orders and work instructions
• Carry out grinding and finishing activities
• Perform quality drilling and grinding activities
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and carry out fabrication tasks as required
• Conduct quality checks on your own work and promptly raise any issues when required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate clearly and effectively regarding work status

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a metal fabrication environment
• Proficiency in quality workmanship
• Attention to detail and a collaborative team player mentality
