Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join their team in Baldock. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying out and fabricating stainless steel metal assemblies and weldments, ranging from small components to large complex parts. The company is a well-established Engineering firm, a leader in the Food Conveying systems industry, making full food cycle machinery and the steelwork it sits upon. Key Responsibilities: Reading Engineering Drawings
• Understand and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Check dimensions and thicknesses
• Tig or MIG Welding Stainless Steel and Mild Steel between 2mm to 20mm into a wide range of structures, producing strong, clean welds suitable for machinery to be used in the food industry
• Reworking and/or repairing welded parts and products according to engineering specification changes
• Operating tools and machinery and welding equipment
• Cutting and grinding metal
• Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas

Requirements: Fabricator Welder Apprenticeship or Equivalent
• Experience of TIG or MIG welding
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
