We are currently recruiting for an outstanding and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wem. This role will involve working with pupils who have complex needs, and the ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students and making a positive impact on their lives.

Job Description

This role will involve working as part of a small specialist provision team, supporting students and young people aged 9-16 who have complex needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children who have complex needs, and a Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.



Required Skills and Qualifications


  • Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Experience working with children who have complex needs
  • Experience within a SEN School (preferably 6+ months)
  • Updated and clean DBS on the update service
  • The ability to inspire children
  • To work as part of a team

Estimated Salary: £25,000-£30,000 per year
