About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Trainee Dental Nurse to join our team at Rodericks Dental Partners.

Job Summary

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will work closely with our experienced dental team to provide high-quality patient care and support. You will assist with a variety of NHS and private dental procedures, ensuring the best possible experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist with chairside support, ensuring the correct equipment and materials are available.
  • Provide support and assistance to a wide range of patients, including those with special needs.
  • Follow practice health and safety and infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Accurately complete patient clinical records and complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs and checks.

Training and Development

We are committed to supporting your career development and will provide you with on-the-job training, online learning, and face-to-face training sessions to help you achieve your goals.

Requirements

  • Dedicated to starting a career in dental nursing.
  • Able to commit to a 12-month+ training program.
  • Comfortable working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments and tasks.
  • Compassionate and empathetic towards patients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • IT skills and ability to use practice software.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
