The successful candidate will work closely alongside qualified teachers and professionals to provide support for students within the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting students attending the SEND unit
- Assisting with the general pastoral care of the students
- Providing support for students' emotional and social needs by encouraging and modelling positive behaviour in line with the College's Behaviour Policy
- Providing one-to-one support, where required
- Assisting in planning of activities
- Assisting with the supervision of students outside of lesson times
- Experience supporting children or adults with special educational needs
- A positive and proactive approach
- A dedicated attitude with the ability to commit to a full-time position
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Good written and verbal English
