Nursery Assistant Role at Bright Horizons Westchester House
At Bright Horizons, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our team at Westchester House Day Nursery and Preschool in Farnham.
About the Role:
- We are looking for a full-time nursery assistant to work closely with our experienced team, providing exceptional care and support to children aged 0-5 years.
- As a nursery assistant, you will be responsible for creating engaging activities, reading, and interacting with the children to foster their development and curiosity.
- You will also communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed about their child's daily experiences and progress.
- In this role, you will contribute to a supportive environment that promotes the children's well-being, safety, and happiness.
- You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs, supporting children towards key milestones and promoting a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is ideal, but not essential; relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in early years education, childcare, or a related field are desirable.
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for building trust and strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies and procedures is required.
