Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Disability Assessment Professional to join our team. As a Disability Assessor, you will play a crucial role in conducting assessments and producing reports to help determine eligibility for benefits.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out 3 client assessments per day, using telephone, video, or face-to-face approaches to understand how a person's disability or health condition affects their daily life. You will gather information through active listening, asking questions, and using your insights to produce factual reports.

  • Competitive starting salary of £37,800 per annum
  • 10% bonus, equivalent to £3,780 per year, paid in one lump sum
  • Monday to Friday working hours from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Full-time and part-time options available (3, 4, or 5 days per week)
Your Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An NMC-registered nursing qualification (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) or HCPC-qualified Physiotherapist, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapist with at least one year of post-registration experience
  • Proactive and keen to learn approach
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Competent IT and computer skills
  • Comfortable working with a diverse range of conditions, including mental health
