As a key member of our safety team, the Occupational Health Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality H&S training, identifying training needs, and assisting managers with H&S related activities.
Salary and Benefits:The salary for this role is estimated to be around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays, an 8% Company Contribution Pension scheme, and private health care coverage.
Key Responsibilities:- H&S Training Delivery: Develop and deliver comprehensive H&S training programs across various disciplines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Training Needs Identification: Support managers in identifying training needs within the H&S arena, utilizing your expertise to develop targeted training solutions.
- Ad-Hoc Training Activities: Assist in dealing with ad-hoc training activities, including those arising from accident investigations, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Managerial Support: Collaborate with managers and supervisors to provide H&S training support, promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization.
- Qualifications: Possess industry-recognized qualifications relevant to H&S training activities, ensuring your expertise meets the highest standards.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills, managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Training Development: Show the ability to develop and deliver a range of engaging H&S training activities, catering to diverse learning styles.
- Report Writing: Exhibit good report writing skills, effectively communicating H&S information to stakeholders.
- Work Schedule: Work Monday to Friday, 08:15am - 4:30pm, with overtime paid at Time 1/3 for the first 2 hours, then Time 1/2 thereafter.
