Restaurant Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Assistant to join our team at Restaurant Associates in York. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

As a Restaurant Assistant, you will work closely with our service staff to prepare and serve food and beverages, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items and daily specials, and resolve any customer complaints in a professional manner.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. You will also have basic math skills and be able to handle cash and make change accurately.

In addition to your duties as a Restaurant Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy working environment by following proper sanitation and food safety procedures. You will also be required to attend training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge.
