Job Title: Academic Education Specialist

About the Role:
Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Academic Education Specialist to deliver personalized education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people not attending school.

Responsibilities:
Create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels. Work with Prospero Teaching to monitor progression with each pupil and support effective learning.

Contract Details:
Location: Hornchurch
Position: Academic Education Specialist
TYPE OF WORK: Contract
DURATION / LIKELY DURATION: Dependent on each student
FULL TIME/PART TIME: Part time and full time depending on availability
Minimum rate of pay: £25 per hour

Requirements:
• Hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent qualification
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable)

Eligibility Criteria:
• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.

As an Academic Education Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education services to our clients. You will work closely with Prospero Teaching to ensure the best possible outcomes for each pupil.
