As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in championing our Environmental Management System and ensuring that our workplace practices prioritize environmental sustainability and comprehensive reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and maintain effective safety protocols to minimize environmental impact and ensure business continuity.
- Foster a culture of environmental awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce the environmental footprint of our operations.
- Conduct audits and provide regulatory advice to ensure compliance with HSE legislative frameworks in Europe and the UK.
- Assess SHE risks and cultivate environmental awareness among employees.
- Manage Environmental and Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) and implement global digital systems for SHE management.
- Develop waste management strategies and track sustainability metrics to report on performance.
- Address training needs and conduct onboarding for employees.
- Manage statutory environmental reporting and measure emissions to implement carbon footprint reduction plans.
- Produce quarterly SHE performance updates and utilize Enabling Risk Management system.
- Serve as SME for Internal Audits.
- Environment Management Certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IEMA).
- Degree in Environmental Science (advantageous).
- Accreditation by an approved Environmental association (e.g., IEMA) (preferred).
- Extensive experience with SHE roles, preferably in medical or healthcare industries.
- Knowledge of HSE legislative frameworks in Europe and the UK.
- Expertise with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Executive-level communication, safety program development, employee training, online systems proficiency, and strong computer skills.
- Understanding of Green gas reduction program requirements.
- Requirements for Permanent UK RTW, local expertise in UK and Ireland legislation.
- Up to £70k package.
- Bonus: 12%.

- Onsite Presence: Roughly 1-2 days per week on site.
