About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Carer at Home Instead. As a Carer, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients, providing companionship, personal care, and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, including activities such as having a cup of tea, going for walks, and engaging in hobbies.
- Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication and document care activities.
- Liaise with the office to discuss changing client needs and provide updates on client progress.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00 p/h weekdays and £12.50 p/h weekends, plus holiday pay and pension.
- Full-time and part-time roles available, with a minimum of 1-hour client visits.
- No uniform required, allowing you to blend in with the client's family.
- Mileage paid at 30p per mile, plus travel time paid.
- Double pay on Bank holidays.
- Fully paid ongoing in-house training, including the Care Certificate, and £90 paid if completed within the first 90 days.
- 1:1 Mentoring from a dedicated experienced Care Professional.
- Funded study for NVQ Level 2 & 3 Apprenticeship, with support for further levels available.
- A friendly and supportive team environment with 24/7 on-call support.

Qualifications and Experience
We welcome applications from individuals with experience in care settings, nursing homes, or community care. If you have been a care assistant, private carer, or have no care experience, we offer full training and support to become a qualified and confident care assistant.
