About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Support Specialist to join our team at Hachette UK Distribution. As an HR Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting our HR Operations and providing administrative assistance to our HR Business Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Administration: Manage HR administration tasks, including contract management, changes to terms and conditions, and other related duties.
  • HR Inbox Management: Facilitate the HR inbox and respond to employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job adverts, managing responses, and coordinating shortlisting and interviews.
  • Reporting and Data Management: Support the HR Business Partners with reporting, employee relations cases, and general administration tasks.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees, including probation periods and exit interviews.
  • Employee Support: Provide guidance and support to employees on HR policies and procedures, including family leave processes.
  • Payroll and System Management: Process payroll tasks and update various systems and trackers as required.
  • Project Support: Assist with ad hoc projects and contribute to the development of the Hachette people plan.

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with previous HR administration experience and excellent organizational skills. The ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple priorities, work effectively in a team, and demonstrate a positive 'can do' attitude.
