Job Title: School Sport Coach

Vision for Education is seeking experienced Sports Coaches to work as SEND Teaching Assistants in North East SEND schools and provisions.

About the Role

This role provides opportunities to work with children aged between EYFS and Post 16 in education settings offering support to the class teacher and pupils in a variety of subjects including Physical Education (P.E).

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with EYFS, primary, secondary, and/or Post-16 school aged children
  • Support SEND pupils in a classroom setting
  • Collaborate with class teachers to provide a supportive learning environment
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and other school staff
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working with SEND pupils
  • Ability to work in a classroom setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of settings
