We are currently recruiting for a Secondary School PE Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team at Teaching Personnel. As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging physical education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4. Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality physical education lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and curricula, and contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular sports clubs and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport.
  2. Promote healthy lifestyles among students and prepare them for internal and external sporting competitions.
  3. Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievements.
  4. Create an inclusive learning environment that supports students of all abilities.
  5. Contribute to the wider school community, including extra-curricular sports clubs and events.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • ECT's are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven experience teaching PE at secondary school level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for sports and physical education, with a commitment to student development.
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
