Static Building Services Engineer Opportunity

GHA Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Static Building Services Engineer to join their team in a full-time permanent role based near Charing Cross Station.

This exciting opportunity involves supporting clients with the maintenance and upkeep of properties, ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and longevity of mechanical, electrical, and fabric systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in M&E Building Services, including HVAC plant, and hold relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, and have experience in conducting routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and submitting clear service reports.

Salary and Benefits:

We are offering a salary up to £43k depending on experience, 25 days holiday (not including bank holidays), a pension scheme after 3 months' service, and overtime opportunities.

About the Role:

  • Undertake regular maintenance and repair work on site, including servicing HVAC systems and other building services equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct performance tests using specialist tools.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and submit clear service reports.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of M&E Building Services and HVAC plant.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Time-served mechanical/maintenance engineer with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
