Strategic Media Director Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Media Strategy Director to lead media strategy and innovation projects across our key clients, and new business pitches, as well as taking the lead on strategic thought leadership across the agency.

About the Role

As a Media Strategy Director, you will be responsible for planning media strategy (across all media: digital and traditional) for the agency's key clients across the UK and international markets. You will also play a part in marketing projects, as well as take part in new business pitches and industry thought leadership (writing industry articles, and blogs and sharing POV at industry events).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop effective media strategies that deliver business results for clients
  • Lead media strategy and innovation projects across key clients
  • Take the lead on strategic thought leadership across the agency
  • Collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders to deliver results that align with and exceed client business needs
  • Play a part in marketing projects and new business pitches
Requirements
  • Previously proven experience in a media agency planning strategy
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills along with a proven track record of building relationships with clients
  • It is likely that you are currently working as a Strategy Director / Strategy Associate Director/ Strategy Business Director/ Senior Strategy Manager within another media agency, or potentially even working in comms planning with a strong focus on strategy in your current role
