Job Description

As a Document Controller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing and maintaining computer and online digital document filing systems and project CDEs
  • Reviewing and distributing documents in line with agreed project procedures
  • Maintaining accurate digital records and registers, logging distributed documents
  • Processing responses to issued documents
  • Following up on responses to issued documents where necessary
  • Administering requests for information
  • Supporting project site teams with the handover documentation process and addressing document queries
  • Advising and providing guidance on archiving
  • Staying up to date with all company policies, procedures, industry legislation, and guidance relevant to your field, including GDPR

Requirements

  • Experience within the construction industry working as a Document Controller or similar
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Professional honesty and integrity in dealing with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
  • Team player willing to adapt in a challenging environment
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
