As a Document Controller, your responsibilities will include:
- Establishing and maintaining computer and online digital document filing systems and project CDEs
- Reviewing and distributing documents in line with agreed project procedures
- Maintaining accurate digital records and registers, logging distributed documents
- Processing responses to issued documents
- Following up on responses to issued documents where necessary
- Administering requests for information
- Supporting project site teams with the handover documentation process and addressing document queries
- Advising and providing guidance on archiving
- Staying up to date with all company policies, procedures, industry legislation, and guidance relevant to your field, including GDPR
Requirements
- Experience within the construction industry working as a Document Controller or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work autonomously
- Professional honesty and integrity in dealing with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
- Team player willing to adapt in a challenging environment
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
