Quality Engineering Placement

At Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains, we're looking for talented individuals to contribute to our success on the track. Our 12-month Quality Engineering Placement will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively across the business, enabling the fast-paced development of technology by creating a dynamic and responsive supply chain.

As a Quality Engineer, you'll work closely with our Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Inspection departments to resolve technical and non-conformance problems, ensuring on-time delivery of parts to our specification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead quality engineering leadership of a diverse portfolio of parts/suppliers.
  • Support the new part design review processes to ensure current part quality performance, manufacturing challenges/capability, and previous component failure history is reviewed.
  • Develop and implement robust countermeasures to solve problems and protect our F1 programmes.
  • Collaborate with the supply chain to highlight improvement opportunities leading to non-conformance reduction.
