Acute Oncology Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
The London North West Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced healthcare professional to fill the role of Acute Oncology ACP/ANP. This position requires a skilled individual with a strong background in acute healthcare and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities
As an Acute Oncology ACP/ANP, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to patients with complex needs, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also be involved in education and training of registered nurses, healthcare assistants, and other team members, promoting best practices and evidence-based care.
Key Requirements
- FDSc Assistant Practitioner Foundation degree
- Minimum 3 years experience as a healthcare assistant
- Experience working in acute healthcare settings
- Leadership and teaching abilities
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Desirable Criteria
- NVQ Level 3 Health Award
- Knowledge of national guidelines for management of patients in the last phase of life
