Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Sheffield. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

About the Role

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with students facing a range of challenges, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural needs. You will provide tailored support to help students thrive both academically and socially, working closely with experienced SEN professionals and teachers to create personalised learning plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN needs
  • Work alongside a supportive SEN department with access to outstanding resources and training
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create tailored learning plans for students
  • Gain hands-on experience for careers in Educational Psychology, Speech and Language Therapy, or Social Work

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of up to £520 per week, excellent opportunities for career development, and a full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM, in a supportive and inclusive education environment.
