About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and disciplined individual to join our team as a SEHS Coordinator at MBS Lighting UK Limited. As a key member of our operational support team, you will play a crucial role in elevating and maintaining safety and security in our culture and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Support: Provide guidance and support to our studio operations throughout the UK and Europe, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Senior Manager Support: Collaborate with our Senior Manager SEHS to develop and implement safety and security programs, including contracted suppliers and risk management strategies.
  • Safety Systems Monitoring: Monitor the status, implementation, and maintenance of safety systems across multiple sites, ensuring that all necessary procedures are in place.
  • Policy Development: Develop and maintain up-to-date policies and procedures, meeting regulatory compliance and guidance, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aware of their responsibilities.
  • Emergency Response Planning: Assist in developing emergency response procedures specific to each location's utilization mix, ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place.
  • Risk Assessment and Management: Conduct site-based risk assessments, identify mitigations, and develop risk registers to communicate risk information to internal and external partners.
  • Facilities Management: Manage local facilities teams' implementation of permit-to-work systems and other customer and contractor controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Respond to issues relating to health, safety, environment, emergency response, performance metrics, and safety management systems, including developing triage and investigation processes.
  • Safety Training and Orientation: Schedule and organize regular safety training and orientations, ensuring that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and the importance of safety in the workplace.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with the HSE, European agencies, and local Fire Authorities to ensure requirements are met and exceeded, and relationships are upheld.
