About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PDI Vehicle Technician to join our workshop prep team at Stephen James Group, an established authorized BMW and MINI franchise. As a PDI Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the final installations and checks before handing over vehicles to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections on all new and used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including brake pad replacements, servicing, programming, and fitting of accessories.
  • Identify and report any vehicle defects or issues.
  • Conduct road tests on vehicles as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all work performed on each vehicle.
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance qualification or equivalent.
  • IMI Electric/Hybrid Vehicle Maintenance qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working in a main dealer manufacturer or national service/repair retailer, preferably with BMW or MINI expertise.
  • Valid and clean manual UK driving license and eligibility to work in the UK.
