Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Reporting Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Regulatory Reporting Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering high-quality financial reports.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading global financial services company, Citco. Our team provides global services for Citco, and we are looking for a talented individual to join us in our mission to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

You will be responsible for reviewing and implementing new operationally aligned market regulations, preparing regulatory returns, and improving underlying processes and systems. You will gain good exposure and knowledge of how the wider firm operates and develop critical client-facing skills.

The Regulatory Reporting team comprises specialists located in the UK, Lithuania, India, and the Philippines, dealing with all regulatory and financial reporting requirements for the Citco Group of Companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements applicable for Citco Banks operating in The Netherlands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Canada, Curacao, and Cayman Islands.
  • Collect data from different sources necessary to complete returns and ensure that all financial output is accurate, reliable, and robust.
  • Prepare and submit COREP returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver FINREP reporting in accordance with FINREP standards.
  • Accountable for Basel III standards (moving to Basel IV) - international banking regulations developed by the Bank for International Settlements.
  • Prepare returns of Citco Banks to regulatory institutions on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Assist with process transformation projects to streamline and automate functions.
  • Respond to queries from Central Banks and other regulatory institutions.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience in preparing regulatory returns for financial institutions.
  • Familiarity with COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR returns is advantageous.
  • Preferably has a background in accounting.
  • Prior experience with 1SumX regulatory reporting is considered a major plus.
  • Accuracy and attention to details.
  • An excellent team player.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
