Health Information Management Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Health Information Management Operations Director to join our team at HCA Healthcare UK. As a key member of our Health Information Management (HIM) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of clinical data across our facilities.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective policies and procedures to promote high-quality healthcare delivery. You will work closely with our Head of Health Information Management to design and improve auditing metrics, address quality issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Design and improve auditing metrics to track performance against operating standards
- Address quality issues and work with colleagues to standardize document, process, and data
- Ensure high-quality clinical coding to meet internal and external expectations
- Implement a records and document management system to ensure records are organized and protected
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge and experience of health information management systems
- Demonstrable experience of health information management in a healthcare setting
- Operational management experience providing advice and guidance on health information issues
