Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estate Manager to join our team at Jobwise Ltd in the Wigan area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estates, facilities, or health and safety management, and will be responsible for managing the site and buildings.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the site and buildings, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Oversee contract cleaning and maintenance services
  • Manage security and CCTV systems
  • Lead a team of three staff members
  • Monitor and record incidents and accidents using RIDDOR guidelines
  • Perform annual inspections and site visits
  • Conduct regular testing of equipment and appliances
  • Manage inventory and stock control of supplies
  • Manage utilities, including gas, water, and waste management
  • Maintain relationships with fire and ambulance services

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in estates, facilities, or health and safety management
  • Familiarity with COSHH handling and risk assessments using RIDDOR techniques
  • A NEBOSH or IOSH qualification
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work as part of a team
  • A UK driver's license

Package Details:

  • A competitive salary of £40,796 pro-rata
