About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Actuarial Assistant to join our team at XPS Pensions Group. As a Graduate Actuarial Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients and colleagues in the production of complex actuarial models and calculations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior members in the client team in the production of actuarial models and calculations
  • Contribute to the drafting of written advice to clients on a wide range of topics, including Defined Benefit & Defined Contribution Schemes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Participate in the development of new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the company
  • Collaborate with other departments in XPS to provide solutions for our clients and best meet their objectives
Requirements
  • Recent degree with a mathematical focus
  • A level Maths
  • Creative mind-set, with a high level of numeracy
  • Ability to problem solve and come up with solutions
  • Outstanding accuracy and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, written, oral and in presentation form
  • Desire and ability to build great relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Adaptable and a team-player
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office
