About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior Manager to join our Public Sector Audit team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading audits of public sector bodies, managing a large portfolio of clients, and developing your team to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead audits of public sector bodies, ensuring high-quality results and meeting regulatory requirements
- Manage a large portfolio of clients, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service
- Develop and lead a team of auditors, providing guidance and support to ensure their success
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services
- Collaborate with other teams to deliver integrated audit services and drive business growth
Requirements
- Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA) with post-qualification experience
- Strong knowledge of the CIPFA Code and Department of Health Group Accounting Manual
- Experience of managing audits of public sector bodies and dealing with complex technical matters
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
