Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kinetic Plc. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to plant and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform planned and preventative maintenance activities to maximize plant reliability and efficiency.
  2. Carry out emergency repairs and maintenance tasks in a safe and timely manner.
  3. Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and best practices.
  4. Manage and maintain stock levels of machinery spares and consumables.
  5. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols and procedures.
  6. Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors on site.
  7. Perform reactive maintenance tasks in a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
  8. Prepare and submit accurate and detailed maintenance reports.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent experience. You will also have a proven track record of working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and best practices.

Desirable Skills:

  1. Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, and installations.
  2. Knowledge of electrical maintenance and wiring regulations.
  3. Experience working with SAP or other business systems.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £42,000 per annum, a bonus scheme, pension, and 31 days holiday. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a team of experienced professionals.
