This is an exciting opportunity for an English Graduate to gain hands-on experience in a supportive school environment. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers to support students aged 11-16 in developing their skills and passion for English. Your academic expertise and enthusiasm will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions and supporting students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting students in the classroom and delivering targeted interventions in English Language and Literature
- Assisting experienced teachers in lesson planning and delivery
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong academic background in English, preferably from a top 20 UK university, and experience working with students aged 11-16. You will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
