Cobb & Jones Recruitment is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will act as a business partner with funders to secure financing for all capex assets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaising with external auditors completing asset audits on behalf of our funders.
  2. Reporting Funder analysis for both management and financial accounts.
  3. Reporting and posting journals for operating lease assets.
  4. Annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for both Hire Purchase and Operating Lease assets that fall under IFRS16.
  5. Be responsible for the capitalisation of assets in COINs.
  6. Fixed Asset Register Reconciliations.
  7. Maintenance of the asset listing ensuring clearance letters are requested and filed.
  8. Drive and manage Select cash through refinancing of unencumbered assets.
  9. Be responsible for the preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
  10. Support the Finance Manager with the yearly audit and Financial Reporting at year end.
Key Requirements
  1. Ideally Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA accountant or at finalist stage.
  2. Analytical, flexible and creative: able to research complex issues and solve poorly defined problems in innovative ways, with an attention to detail.
  3. Strong financial and analytical skills.
