Job Description

This role will support the Senior Finance Business Partner to build Salix Finance's reputation as trustworthy stewards of public money.

You will lead on all aspects of financial monitoring and reporting for specific business areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate records of actuals against budget/forecast.
  • Working with budget holders and the wider Finance team to ensure timely posting of accruals, prepayments, and miscode journals.
  • Supporting the Senior Finance Business Partner in producing monthly management reports, including Key Performance Indicators.
  • Ledning on annual budgeting/forecast processes, ensuring budgets are appropriately evidenced and phased throughout the year.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Practical experience of preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.
  • Experience of business partnering with teams outside of finance.
  • CCAB qualified or finalist/part qualified or QBE.
  • Deadline driven and collaborative member within a team.
