About Austin Fraser's Vehicle Maintenance Unit (VMU) in Lutterworth, we're seeking skilled HGV Technicians to support a fleet of over 80 vehicles and 200 trailers. Our team is expanding, and we need professionals who can perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and prepare vehicles for MOT inspection according to DVSA standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out regular checks on vehicle and trailer systems
  2. Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, adhering to strict guidelines
  3. Diagnostics using specialized equipment
  4. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and health & safety practices
  5. Complete paperwork and upload inspections to the R2C system
Requirements:
  1. HGV Licence is preferred but not essential; relevant experience is key
  2. A minimum of Level 3/NVQ technician qualification or equivalent
  3. At least one year of experience in a similar role
  4. A valid driving license is required
