About the Role

You will be joining a well-established group based in Surrey as part of their key finance team.

Reporting to the FD, you will be taking on a contract role to help develop the group function and ensure the structure, processes, procedures and team layout are geared up for growth. This is a key role with a mix of exciting projects as well as business-as-usual activities. You will lead a small team of qualified accountants responsible for group month end accounts and year end, and oversee consolidated management accounts, group statutory accounts and audit, corporate tax for all UK and overseas entities as well as treasury activities and group cashflow.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of qualified accountants in group finance
  • Developing and implementing accounting policies
  • Providing technical guidance to the wider entities
  • Maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

  • A proven track record in a group finance manager or controller role
  • Strong technical skills in IFRS accounting
  • Experience working in an international environment
