This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Lift Service Engineer to join our client, a globally renowned company with a huge presence in the automotive, retail, and airport industries. The company boasts an impressive track record of staff retention and progression into senior roles.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining passenger and goods lifts within an hour and a half radius of Birmingham. You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, and receive paid door-to-door travel. Overtime is available at 1.3x pay rate, with 5-8 hours per week on offer.

You will have the opportunity to expand your skill set on both passenger and goods lifts through dedicated product training given in the head office, along with ongoing shadowing with an experienced Engineer. This role would suit a Lift Engineer looking to develop their expertise while covering a local patch with plenty of opportunity for overtime.

The ideal candidate will possess experience working on passenger lifts and be willing to learn and adapt to new situations. They will be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £46,500 per annum, based on a 37.5-hour week. Other benefits include 33 days' holiday, van and phone provided, and call-out arrangements.
