Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is £12.79 per hour, with paid holidays (up to 28 days per year) and weekly pay (every Friday). Additionally, the company offers PAYE and 24-hour support from the VTA team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Company vehicle allocated is maintained in a roadworthy and clean condition, documenting appropriate checks and reporting any faults immediately.
  • Assist in loading assembled orders onto the vehicle, ensuring the payload is within the limits for the vehicle and that the permissible axle weights are not exceeded.
  • Deliver to customers as directed, assist with unloading, and take goods to the final delivery point as requested.

Requirements:

  • A full valid C1 driving licence
  • Competence at securing loads
  • Flexibility in approach to work

Location: Pendlebury (M27)

Working Hours: Day Shift 6am-4pm, 45 Hour weeks, Monday to Friday
