Job Title: BIM/Revit Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM/Revit Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a BIM/Revit Manager, you will be responsible for delivering BIM-enabled projects and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies and plans for clients
  • Lead and manage the roll-out and implementation of BIM within client organisations
  • Author key BIM documentation and workflows aligned to industry best practice
  • Communicate BIM strategies and documentation to stakeholders
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with BIM implementation
  • Interface with clients, design teams, and contractors to implement BIM methodologies and best practice
  • Lead and manage a team of BIM specialists
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops
  • Carry out structured reviews of project models
  • Carry out clash detection of project models
  • Analyse and interpret data against project requirements
  • Peer review work produced by colleagues to maintain Turner & Townsend quality measures
  • Support colleagues with project deliverables
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of Turner & Townsend BIM documentation and processes
  • Create and contribute to bid proposals
  • Provide line management to colleagues
  • Carry out research and development of emerging technologies
  • Act as an ambassador championing the digital services delivered by Turner & Townsend.
Requirements:
  • Understanding of emerging technology market that can support clients and delivery
  • Working knowledge of standards which define information management using BIM according to BS EN ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework
  • Understanding of international BIM standards
  • Working knowledge of roles and responsibilities relevant to a BIM-enabled project
  • Working knowledge of creation and maintenance of key BIM documentation
  • Working knowledge of a common data environment
  • Working knowledge of roles and relationships associated with a BIM-enabled project
  • Working knowledge of 3D modelling software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, etc.
  • Working knowledge of 3D model interrogation and clash detection software such as Solibri, Navisworks, etc.
  • Understanding of dashboard software such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Inquisitive nature to research and learn new software skills
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a diverse skilled team
  • Ability to define and write BIM strategies and implementation plans
  • Clear communication skills to all project stakeholders
  • Ability to lead project meetings
  • Ability to lead and contribute to team meetings and discussions
