As a Surgical Care Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Upholding exemplary standards of personalized nursing/ODP care in accordance with established Policies, Clinical Guidelines, and best practices
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure uniform clinical practices
  • Offering assistance to the surgical team, including the surgeon and anesthetist, as required
  • Being a vital member of the surgical scrub team, whether functioning as a scrub or circulating practitioner
  • Working closely with surgical personnel to ensure proper patient positioning during operations
  • Facilitating the timely collection and dispatch of specimens
  • Monitoring, observing, and administering controlled substances as necessary
  • Assisting in the transfer of patients to and from the surgical area
  • Participating in pre and postoperative patient assessments as needed

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical scrub capacity
  • Previous experience in the private healthcare sector
  • Proven clinical competence and consistent practice
  • A solid understanding of the significance of multidisciplinary teamwork
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Compassionate communication with patients and their families

The successful Surgical Care Specialist will receive a competitive salary ranging from £33,000 to £38,000 annually. We offer both full-time and part-time permanent positions for Day shifts. In return for your commitment, you will benefit from:
