We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join our client's successful team in Harlow, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-process and final product inspections, producing data for first article and initial sample inspection reports, and maintaining quality management systems in line with ISO 9001 & AS9100 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of CNC machined parts and other mechanical components
- Produce accurate and detailed inspection reports
- Maintain calibration records and processes for all equipment on site
- Ensure conformance to internal and AS9100 procedures throughout the production process
- Experience with CNC machined parts and GD and T measurement
- Ability to interpret Standard Engineering Drawings
- Experience with CMM programming and measurement
- Experience maintaining calibration records and processes to ISO 9001/AS9100
