Binman Driver Role Job Description

Salary: £14-17 per hour (Competitive Pay)

Job Type: Full Time

About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced binman driver to join our waste management team in the Hayes area.

The successful candidate will have a valid Class 2 license and be able to safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect and transport waste bins from designated locations.

The role will require the candidate to work a variety of shifts, including early morning starts and occasional Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation: Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle to collect and transport waste bins from designated locations.
  • Route Planning: Plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely and efficient waste collection services.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle to ensure its safety and report any issues promptly.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Valid License: A valid Class 2 driving license is essential for this role.
  • Work Experience: Prior experience in waste management is beneficial, but we welcome applications from individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Reliability: A punctual and dependable individual who can consistently meet job requirements.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and maneuvering waste bins.
