About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our client's care team. The ideal candidate will be able to provide personal care and support to our client, ensuring her needs and aspirations are at the centre of all care activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care and daily living activities
  • Help our client participate in fun and meaningful activities, both at home and in the community
  • Support her independence and help her make choices that enhance her quality of life
  • Provide emergency seizure care and daily physiotherapy to manage her Cerebral Palsy
  • Work alongside her family and current care team to ensure she is safe, happy, and thriving in a supportive environment
Requirements
  • Female Support Worker with a caring and compassionate nature
  • Ability to work confidently and sensitively in the client's home, respecting the needs and wishes of both the client and her family
  • Experience working with young adults, particularly those with Cerebral Palsy or epilepsy, is preferred but not essential (full training provided)
  • Ability to operate specialist equipment safely and effectively (training provided)
  • Implement the Handling Management Plan to reduce the risk of handling injuries
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to cover shifts, sometimes at short notice
  • Full driving licence (endorsements to be disclosed) and willingness to drive a wheelchair-adapted vehicle (training provided)
