About The Role

The automotive industry is undergoing a transformative period, driven by trends such as electrification, connectivity, and the agency model. As the UK's largest car fleet, Motability Operations must stay ahead of these developments to ensure the resilience of our fleet. We are seeking an Analyst to join our Residual Value & Pricing team, who will play a vital role in understanding the impact of these trends on new and used car market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a deep understanding of the economic and automotive landscape, identifying key drivers of change and their potential impact on our fleet.
  • Build relationships with car manufacturers, retailers, and industry contacts to stay informed about future product and technological developments.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on residual value risk, providing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Apply analytical tools to produce vehicle-level RVs and maintenance budgets for our fleet on a quarterly basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and share key insights on market trends and developments.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of data-driven decision-making and be able to apply analytical approaches to deliver workable solutions in a fast-paced business environment.

Requirements
  • Experience of working in an analytically oriented commercial environment.
  • Strong analytical, data visualisation, and problem-solving experience.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
