About the Job

This role involves working as a Nurse in a prison environment, providing high-quality care to patients with complex physical and mental health needs. The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar setting and will be able to demonstrate their ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver high-quality care to patients in a prison environment
  • To work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to healthcare in prisons
  • To participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans for patients

Requirements

  • Registered NMC Qualification (B5/B6)
  • Post Graduate Qualification or equivalent experience (B6)
  • Experience of working in a prison or secure environment
  • Strong understanding of the complexities involved in delivering healthcare in this setting

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £35,745 - £43,041 per annum, plus excellent benefits including annual leave, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development and career progression.
