Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a refuse collection vehicle or skip collection vehicle to remove and dispose of refuse and recyclable materials.
  • Maintain effective relationships between the service and the public, ensuring crew adherence to Council policies and procedures.
  • Clean up spillage, loose refuse, and litter debris in any area, disposing of waste at designated points.
  • Identify premises with refuse storage and/or prevention issues and notify the Refuse Supervisor.
  • Report damaged or unemptied bins, providing necessary details and affixing information to affected bins.

Requirements:

  • Immediate or short-notice availability.
  • Right to work in the U.K.
