About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our polymers facility in Redcar, UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring excellence in health and safety, product quality, and asset performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the operational process team and maintenance team to achieve operational excellence and efficiencies.
  • Develop and implement systems for employee involvement and ensure that all employees understand their individual objectives.
  • Manage multi-million pound budgets and achieve financial targets by optimizing manufacturing processes.
  • Liaise with sales managers to plan and predict customer orders to satisfy deliveries.
  • Investigate and analyze new products and processes to improve production efficiency.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Operations or Leadership Management.
  • Significant relevant experience in waste or environmental capacity.
  • In-depth knowledge of plastics recycling processes.
  • Managing at a senior level with a proven track record of achieving clearly defined KPIs.
